1. GreenLeaders Program. This program was created by TripAdvisor to search properties that are "committed to green practices like recycling, local and organic food, and electric car charging stations."
2. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) This Article explains LEED... "To earn LEED certification, a building is awarded points for satisfying certain green requirements in six categories- Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy & Atmosphere, Materials & Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality and Innovation in Design."
3.BREEAM building certified. BREEAM is the world's 1st sustainability assessment method for buildings. Three of Peninsula Hotel properties are now under BREEAM standards . You can learn more about it here.
